Września Collection is a long-term photo project which consists in “portraying” the town and its residents by one photographer. Each year, a different photographer is selected. The organisers, i.e. Tomasz Kałużny, mayor of Września and the curator, guarantee full artistic freedom to the artists. At the end, the photographer gives the town a set of photographs, then an exhibition is organised and a book catalogue is published.
So far, the following artists have contributed their work to the Collection: Bogdan Konopka (2009), Andrzej Jerzy Lech (2010), Mariusz Forecki (2011) and Nicolas Grospierre (2012).
Thanks to them, Września already has an interesting photo documentation. And the Collection has only just begun...

Kolekcja Wrzesińska to wieloletni projekt fotograficzny polegający na „portretowaniu” miasta i jego mieszkańców w jednym roku przez jednego, wybranego fotografa. Organizatorzy, czyli burmistrz Wrześni Tomasz Kałużny oraz kurator, zapewniają artyście całkowitą swobodę twórczą.
Końcem pracy fotografa jest przekazanie miastu zestawu fotografii, a następnie organizowana jest wystawa oraz wydawana książka-katalog. Do tej pory do Kolekcji tworzyli: Bogdan Konopka (2009), Andrzej Jerzy Lech (2010), Mariusz Forecki (2011) oraz Nicolas Grospierre (2012).
Dzięki tym artystom Września już dziś posiada interesującą dokumentację fotograficzną. A to dopiero początek Kolekcji...
